There is a general opinion among the audience that Bollywood stars are 'C/o adress' for all sorts of dirty things. Police cases, drugs, mafia links, affairs, abuse.. whatever you name it.. some or the other Bollywood celebrity will be guilty in these things. Even though it sounds exaggeration to generalize like this, but a fact remains a fact. To bring extra glory to the Bollywood, yesteryear actress Rati Agnihotri stole 49 lakh worth electricity !
Rati Agnihotri and her husband Anil Virwani live in their Sterling Sea Face flat in Mumbai's prime location Worli. The couple said to have tampered the electricity meters in their home to steal electricity without paying the bill. When electricity department conducted surprise check on thier flat, they came to know the secret. The couple said to have stolen 1.77 lakh units of electricity from 2013 till now. After they came to know the act, they have filed a complaint with the police. Police said to have registered a case against them under Section 135 of Electricity Act.
Rati acted in few Telugu films like Andarla Rasi, Punnami Nagu, Mayadari Krishnudu etc. When it comes to the latest Telugu films, she acted in Nandamuri Balakrishna's Dictator.
