TDP Leadership has been preferring Bhashyam Ramakrishna over Sitting MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao for Narasaraopeta Lok Sabha Ticket. Upon knowing about it, Rayapati told the Party Chief in a serious tone - 'If you find a better candidate than Me, Go ahead and field him in my constituency'.
Actually, Rayapati sought Narasaraopeta Lok Sabha Ticket for himself and Sattenapalle Assembly Ticket for his Son. While Speaker Kodela is contesting again from Sattenapalle, TDP Leadership don't want to field Ramapati again in Narasaraopeta.
Upset with denial of tickets, Rayapati Family began contemplating on shifting to another party. Quickly, YCP Leaders swung into action to bring Rayapati into the party.
