Revanth Reddy planned to ditch TDP?

Speculations are abuzz that Revanth Reddy once attempted to join Bharatiya Janata Party. He, however, was unsuccessful because BJP Leadership didn't offer its consent.
If the sources are to be believed, BJP Chief Amit Shah directed Revanth Reddy to obtain a clean chit in the cash-for-vote case before changing the party. The Firebrand would have been the chief of Telangana BJP by now had if he wasn't involved in the scandal.
BJP Leadership wishes to disassociate itself with netas facing corruption allegations. Why because, PM Narendra Modi kept claiming he took a firm stand against corruption in all forms.
This is why Revanth Reddy might have withdrawn the plans to shift the party for now even though Telangana TDP is hardly making it's presence. Who knows, Anything could happen before 2019 Polls.
