Blood Samples of Puri: Why its not the best?
X
Drug Racket Issue took a serious turn after SIT interrogated Puri Jagannath for over 10 hours. In the video message issued by him after reaching his residence, The Filmmaker claimed he never indulged in any illegal activities.

SIT collected the blood samples of Puri for necessary tests to determine whether he took drugs or not.

As per experts, Blood Sample could be useful in finding if a person has consumed drugs only if the tests were performed within 15 days after taking the dose. Only 20 percent of persons taking drugs have been detected with the blood tests. Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) report confirms the same.

Testing Hair Samples could be a better option. While Head Hair could be useful in finding whether a person is taking drugs or not if the last dose is within 4 months, Body Hair can obtain results even if the individual took his last dose between 260-360 days. Urine Test could be useful only if the last dose is within 10 days.
