A burglar stole Rs 17 lakh worth gold ornaments, Rs 2.5 lakh worth silver and Rs 70,000 cash from the house of Adilabad TRS MP Godam Nagesh on September 27th this year. Apart from erasing his fingerprints, He damaged the CCTV Camera and even took away the hard disk of the computer to avoid getting caught by the cops. This robbery happened at the Adilabad Housing Board Colony when the MP was in New Delhi on official duty.
In the past, Two robberies took place at the same house belonging to MP Nagesh. So, MP expressed his displeasure over the failure of Cops to prevent frequent robberies and even warned that he would complain to DGP.
Police reached the conclusion that a professional Burglar is behind it after observing the scene of offense. Special Teams were formed to hunt the Burglar and finally succeeded in the mission. However, Cops managed to recover only Rs 15 lakh of gold and Rs 70,000 cash.
SP Srinivas responded seriously on the criticism made by Adilabad MP Nagesh against Police Department. The Top Cop asked the Parliamentarian can transfer him if he isn't happy with his work.
