Salaries of Telangana MLAs to be hiked

Here comes the great news for all Telangana state legislators. The salaries of the MLA'S and MLC'S might soon see a huge jump. As per reports Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao is contemplating increasing the salaries of 119 MLAs and 40 MLCs.
According to sources KCR is planning to offer a hike from the existing Rs 95,000 to Rs 3 lakh per month. Chief Minister Felt that the salaries were quite meagre compared to their work and expenses incurred as public representatives.
Officials of the state government is gathering details about the salaries of neighboring state legislators. Not only legislators even cabinet rank officials also likely to get the hike.The salary hike to Rs 3 lakh per legislator will cost the exchequer Rs 3.18 crore per month.
