Packages of Skilled Foreigners on rise in US

A recent study by Pew Research Centre revealed Salaries of Highly-Skilled Foreign Workers in US have been increasing in the recent past. Why because, Major Tech Companies began giving out lucrative offers to skilled foreigners because of the need for work force.
Increase in demand for the highly-skilled man power is said to be the major reason. While US Firms sought 246,126 H1-B Visas in 2009, This went up to 399,349 last year. Over 21,000 H1-B Visa Applications of Cognizant, consultancy firm based in New Jersey, have been processed in 2016 and it's been the highest for a single company.
A decade ago, Median Salary for a worker on H1-B Visa used to be $69,000 per year. This has now increased up to $80,000 per year.
Average Salaries offered by IT Majors like Facebook, Google, Microsoft and Apple were over $125,000.
