NTR-starrer 'Aravindha Sametha' has been running successfully during the Dussehra Season. Much to the shock of the Makers, This Faction-backdrop Flick got embroiled in a controversy after the completion of the first weekend.
Rayalaseema-based Student Unions & People's Organizations raised objection to few sequences in 'Aravindha Sametha'. At the press meet in Hyderabad, Rayalaseema Vidyarthi Porata Samithi accused Telugu Film Industry of holding a grudge against the Most Backward Region in AP. They found fault with the manner in which Rayalaseema People have been portrayed in the films.
Student Unions alleged Trivikram had only brought back factionism into the lives of people with his movie. A concern was expressed that 'Aravindha Sametha' might lead to faction clashes in Rayalaseema. 'Certain Scenes and Dialogues in 'Aravindha Sametha' are objectionable. They could be a bad influence on the youth. So, All of them should be removed from the film immediately. Trivikram should issue an apology,' demanded the representatives of Rayalaseema-based Organisations.
Faction in Rayalaseema is no more the same as it used to be few decades ago. Trivikram took cinematic liberties to glorify faction so as to create the desired impact. Team Aravindha Sametha is yet to respond on the demands placed by Rayalaseema Unions.
