Shiv Sena MP Ravindra Gaikwad slapped a 61-Year-Old Air India Official with his slipper as many as 25 times at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in New Delhi. The Parliamentarian admitted that he assaulted the AI Employee Sukumar Raman of AISATS for failing to allot him Business Class Seat.

Actually, Air India Flight reached Delhi's IGI Airport from Pune at 9:35 AM. All the passengers except MP Ravindra Gaikwad evacuated the flight after the landing. He refused to deplane until senior officials such as Chairman or Director of the Airlines speak to him.

MP's PA was in touch with Pune Airport Manager since Wednesday for a Business Class Seat for travelling to Delhi. However, The Manager informed the PA that they can't allot business class seat as the flight is an all economy class. Taking the requirement of MP into consideration, A seat in the front row was allotted to him. Because of this issue, the flight which was about to leave to Goa has been delayed by 40 minutes. The MP lost his cool when Sukumar advised him to behave properly as he is a public representative. He took his slipper and slapped him repeatedly.

Two FIRs has been lodged against MP Ravindra Gaikwad for causing physical harm to an Air India Official and delaying the flight by 40 minutes. In his complaint, Sukumar commented: 'God save our country if this is the culture and behaviour of our MPs'.
