Though unsure of his own political future, Chandrababu Naidu is running from pillar to post and is meeting every party that contested the poll to work up an anti-Modi alliance. He has been incessantly touring state capitals and Delhi for this. He has met Mamta didi, he went and met SP and BSP leaders. Then, he met the Congress bosses. All this to keep alive the anti-Modi alliance.
Finally, Shiv Sena called Chandrababu's bluff. In the editorial in Shiv Sena mouthpiece Saamna, it said; Why is Chandrababu Naidu exhausting himself for no reason? Hope this excitement lasts till May 23. Good luck to him." The Saamna said there is no guarantee that the opposition unity will last till May 23. Hence Chandrababu is straining himself by travelling from state to state.
Lampooning Chandrababu's attempts, the newspaper editorial said that the country cannot afford to have a government that crawls on many editors. In a parting shot, the editorial further said: Naidu himself is having a tough time in his own state, where YS Jagan is giving him a run for his money. But, despite all these sage advices, Naidu being Naidu, he will keep running from state to state for some publicity for himself.
