Sidhu Quits As Minister, Tweets Letter To Rahul!

Congress Leader Navjot Singh Sidhu hasn't took charge of his new ministry post the cabinet reshuffle in Punjab last month. Finally, He decided to tender his resignation as the Minister of Punjab.
Sidhu had a fallout with Punjab CM Amarinder Singh. Following which, He was stripped of key portfolios in the cabinet reshuffle. The Former Cricketer took the decision to submit his resignation rather than accepting insignificant portfolios.
In the recent cabinet reshuffle, Sidhu was stripped of Local Government, Tourism and Cultural Affairs Portfolios. He was assigned Power, New and Renewable Energy Portfolio.
Earlier, Sidhu accused CM Amarinder Singh of disapproving his Wife Navjot Kaur's candidature for Amritsar Lok Sabha Constituency. Amarinder Singh alleged Congress failed to win Urban Segments in 2019 Lok Sabha Polls because Sidhu handled his portfolio poorly. This friction in Punjab Congress will eventually benefit Akali Dal and BJP.
