Indian Engineer Srinivas Kuchibhotla was shot dead by American Navy personnel Adam W.Purinton at a bar in Kansas on February 22nd. The friend of Srinivas, Mr. Alok Madasani and an American Youth suffered injuries during the attack which is suspected to be a hate crime.
Reportedly, Mortal Remains of Srinivas Kuchibhotla were supposed to reach Hyderabad in an Air India flight by Monday night. External Affairs Ministry has made necessary arrangements for the same.
Last Rites of Srinivas Kuchibhotla will be performed in Jubilee Hills on Tuesday.
Srinivas Kuchibhotla tied the knot with Sunayana in 2012. The couple have no children. Srinivas Parents Madhusudhana Sastry and Parvata Vardhini who were in a state of shock said their son planned to return home in June 2017 but they will now be receiving his mortal remains.
Union Ministers Venkaiah Naidu & Bandaru Dattatreya visited the house of Srinivas Kuchibhotla in Bachupally on Sunday to console the family members.
