Young and emerging political leader, Hardik Patel, has been asked about Sunny Leone at a press meet he held recently.
He is looking to start a rally for Madhya Pradesh people to wake up and fight against atrocities in July.
So, he held a press conference and one of the journalists asked him about Sunny Leone.
He said, "Sunny Leone should be treated equal to Sridevi and Madhuri Deekshit. She is no longer a porn star and one shouldn't discredit her present work linking to her past.
She proved herself as an actress and we should respect that. She was a pornstar once and now, she is a popular actress. We need to change our thinking and credit her efforts."
He said that he believes she did what she felt right for her at those circumstances and he always supported her.
