SC orders Sadavarthi Lands Re-Auction

YCP MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy moved High Court alleging irregularities in the sale of Sadavarthi Lands. Then, HC ordered AP Government to conduct an auction to sell 83 acres of land belonging to Sadavarthi Satram.
On Monday, The Mangalagiri Legislator brought to the notice of High Court that only 79 out of 83 acres have been auctioned by AP Government. Justice Ramesh Ranganathan and Justice Uma Devi asked the YCP MLA to file an affidavit in this regard, so that High Court can seek an explanation from State Government.
The petition moved by Madala Sanjeev Reddy in Supremo Court seeking stay on auction of Sadavarthi Lands has come up for hearing on Tuesday. Apex Court denied stay order and permitted re-auction of the prime land. Next hearing of the case has been posted to September 18th. These developments are a big setback to the Ruling Party.
