Even as Chandrababu Naidu is all set to conduct review meetings in both Vizag and Nellore to take stock of the party position, there is an exodus from the TDP into the YSRCP. Several key leaders have left the TDP on Wednesday. Key leaders like Kuvvarapu Balaji have joined the YSRCP in the presence of minister Anil Kumar Yadav and MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy. They said that they were attracted by the policies and programmes of the YSRCP.

In Visakhapatnam too, similar shock awaited the TDP ahead of Chandrababu Naidu's visit to the city. Chandrababu will be in Vizag for two days to review the party position in three MP seats and 16 Assembly seats in Visakhapatnam. Former Narsipatnam MLA Umasankar Ganesh and Adari Anand and over 500 workers have announced that they were resigning from the TDP and were joining the YSRCP as they were impressed by the YSRCP's pro-poor rule. They said programmes like Navaratnalu will help the poor and the marginalised people in a big way. They said that the pro-poor welfare measures will benefit the people in North Andhra.

Meanwhile Chandrababu Naidu will tour Visakhapatnam on October 10 and 11, while he would tour Nellore on October 14 and 15. His tour is aimed at charting out a future course of action for the party, which has lost the recent assembly and Lok Sabha elections and is facing a severe existential crisis.
