The resignation letter of Gannavaram legislator Vallabhaneni Vamsi heated up the situation in Assembly lobby on Wednesday. Immediately, Nara Lokesh directed Kala Venkat Rao to pacify the agitating MLA.
Reportedly, Vallabhaneni Vamsi is upset over the attitude of an Official in CMO during the issue related to Delta Sugars in Hanuman Junction. The Legislator decided to offer his resignation letter to Speaker Kodela Today. Upon knowing about it, MLA Bode Prasad took away the resignation letter from Vamsi and teared it. Quickly, He informed Nara Lokesh about the tough call taken by the Gannavaram MLA.
AP Government is considering the proposal to shift Delta Sugars from Hanuman Junction to Tanuku. Few weeks ago, Vallabhaneni Vamsi took farmers of his constituency to the CM Camp Office to appeal Government not to accept the proposal. He informed CM Chandrababu Naidu that shifting Delta Sugars will put additional burden on the farmers. Chief Minister assured he would take the concerns of MLA and Farmers of the region into consideration.
On Wednesday, Vallabhaneni Vamsi went to CM Camp Office along with Farmers once again. When an official of CMO denied appointment of Chandrababu Naidu, An argument took place between the two. Hurt by the rude behaviour of the Official, Vallabhaneni Vamsi offered to resign.
