TDP MLC sought ban on TV Serials

TDP MLC and State Women Commission Chief Nannapaneni Rajakumari expressed her displeasure over the way women are projected in TV Serials these days.
While addressing the press conference in Kakinada, Nannapaneni said: 'In the recent past, It has become quite common to cast Women in the roles of antagonists. In TV Serials, Women were shown as anti-social elements who plot the murders of their opponents. This kind of projection will have a very bad influence on the viewers. The Commission for Women would move a motion seeking ban on such Serials very soon'.
The TDP Leader advised Managements of TV Channels to have a sense of social responsibility. She even appealed people to boycott such serials which spread negativity and cause harm to the society.
