TRS Workers Teach A Lesson To Minister Mallareddy
X
Is minister Mallareddy proving to be a millstone around the TRS neck in Telangana? His ways appear to be alienating a section of loyal TRS workers, who have been with KCR for a long time. These leaders appear to be determined to teach Mallareddy a lesson.

Giving MP ticket to Mallareddy's son-in-law has proved disastrous for the TRS and many TRS loyalists had actually remained silent during the elections leading to his shock defeat. Even KCR is said to be rueing the decision to give the ticket to Mallareddy's kin. Mallareddy did not learn a lesson from the defeat and continued with the same way in local body elections too. As a result, at least 10 TRS leaders have fought the election as rebel candidates and have defeated the official TRS candidates pitted by Malla Reddy.

Thus of the 42 MPTC seats, the TRS could win only 19, which is less than a half. The Congress won 13 seats, the BJP one and 10 independents. Mallareddy gave tickets to his friends and close elations in most places and they lost badly. In most of these places, the TRS workers had either voted for the rebels or to the Congress. As a result, the Congress had put up a decent show in Medchal assembly constituency after a gap of ten years.
