TTD Board Computers hacked

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) has fallen prey to WannaCry Ransomware malware. Around 10 Computers of TTD'S Administrative Department were hacked. As a precautionary measure, TTD Board stopped using 20 other computers to ensure at least they were protected.
TTD EO Anil Kumar Singhal confirmed the reports of virus attack on Wednesday. 'Yes, Computers meant for administrative operations were hacked. But, Ticket Sales and other online services remain unaffected as those systems were safe,' he informs.
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) which has been offering technical support to TTD is currently working on bringing back hacked systems under control. TTD IT-wing is monitoring the situation from time to time.
