Strangely, TDP Activists lodged a complaint with the Election Commission seeking removal of fans from the Government Officials on grounds that its the election symbol of YSR Congress Party. A complaint in this regard was filed in Ramakupapm Mandal in CM's native district Chittoor.
Actually, TDP Leaders were miffed with EC removing the posters of Chandrababu Naidu from the Government Offices citing the Model Code of Conduct. As a result, Ruling Partymen forwarded a complaint to EC through local Tehsildar Janardan Setti demanding removal of fans from Government Offices during election period. 'Nobody is above the law and rules should be the same for all the parties. If the posters of CM aren't allowed, How could EC permit Fans?,' questioned a TDP Leader.
Analysts say, Such a disgusting demand from TDP would damage the image of the Ruling Party itself. Can the TDP Leaders imagine how the situation would be working in hot summer without even fans? Those who demand removal of fans should set up Air Conditioners in all the Government Offices with their hard-earned money.
