Telangana Govt honors Amala Akkineni

Akkineni Amala's selfless service to animals through Blue Cross is something really appreciable. Now, Government has came forward to honor the former actress with a respectable position.
Recently, Telangana Chief Minister KCR passed orders to form a 21-member Animal Welfare Board. While Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav will be the Chairman of the Board, Amala Akkineni is being appointed as one of the Members.
People who have been following her right from the day she began taking care of homeless creatures feel Amala deserves a berth in any board that's related to Animal Welfare. Inspiring Woman!!
On the film front, Amala made her comeback with 'Life Is Beautiful' and made a special appearance in Akkineni multistarrer 'Manam'. She was supposed to work with Kamal Haasan for a family subject but the project got shelved for some reasons.
