Telangana Inter Board Postpones Supplementary Exams

Post the Inter Results fiasco, The Board of Intermediate Education (BIE) postponed Advanced Supplementary Exams from May 16th to May 25th. Intermediate First Year Exams will be conducted in the morning session. Second Year Exams would be held in the afternoon session. Advanced Supplementary Exams will end on June 1st.
As per the schedule announced by the Board of Intermediate Education earlier, Advanced Supplementary Exams were supposed to begin on May 16th. The Inter Board decided to delay it by few days as re-valuation of answer sheets of 3.28 lakh failed students is time consuming process.
In Telangana, About 9.74 lakh Students appeared for Intermediate First and Second Year Exams in 2019. The results were announced on April 18th. Since then, Close to 20 Students killed themselves for failing in the examination. Three Member Panel constituted by the State Government found BIE and Globarena Technologies guilty of committing blunders.
