Telangana Cricketer in US Women's Team

Sindhuja Reddy grabbed all the eye-balls after she was chosen to play for US Women's National Cricket Team. She is going to be part of the squad in the World Twenty20 Qualifiers scheduled to happen in Scotland in August this year.
The 26-Year-Old hails from Amangal village in Nalgonda district. She had served as skipper of Hyd Under-19 Team and represented Hyderabad in many state-level tournaments in the past. Sindhuja shifted to US after marrying Siddhartha Reddy. At one stage, She almost given up cricket but playing in local clubs in US changed her fortune. Selectors were impressed with her skills as a batswoman and wicket-keeper. The goal in front of Sindhuja is to play well for the next few years to cement her place in the US National Team and be the part of squad for ICC World Cup 2020.
