Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao gave his consent for four Ordinances during his recent cabinet meeting at Pragathi Bhavan.

3-Tier Zonal System for Government Jobs was scrapped. From now, Recruitments happen under 2-Tier Zonal System. T-Cabinet passed the resolution seeking amendment of Article 371(D) and placed the proposal before President of India for approval.

In the wake of Miyapur Land Scam, Record of Rights Act (RoR Act) was amended to cancel illegal registrations and ban registration of Government Lands.

PD Act was amended for preventing sale adulteration of food items, fake educational certificates and spurious seeds & fertilisers.

Amendment of VAT Act is being done to solve pending VAT disputes and for the sake of GST rolling out from July 1st, 2017.

KCR ended the culture of Gambling Clubs after becoming CM. It came to his notice that people have shifted to online gambling after crackdown on clubs. Hence, Gaming Act was amended to prevent Online Gambling as well. Now, Gamblers will face 6 months jail and hefty fine if caught.
