The Cutest Indian Dog of the Year

Bambi, a brown mongrel with dark eyes, is officially declared as the Cutest Indian Dog of the Year at the annual contest organised by PETA (People for the ethical treatment of Animals).
Barely 4 years ago, Bambi was just one of the stray dogs roaming on the streets of Basavanagudi in Bengaluru. Aishwarya Radhakrishna, the owner, found Bambi on the street when she was just 10-days-old. Bambi was so small then and all one could see was just a skeleton. Initially, The puppy was kept for adoption but the family called off the plans after few days and made it their own pet dog.
Aishwarya Radhakrishna who is a dermatologist can't imagine a day without Bambi now and she proudly declares this cute dog has become a treasure of her family. Her Family feeds about 15-20 stray dogs daily and also adopts dogs from the streets.
