Bhuma Family always believed in serving the people in whatever way they can. Both Bhuma Nagireddy & Shobha Nagireddy took the pledge to donate their eyes after their death.
When Shobha Nagireddy passed away in a road mishap while returning from poll campaign in 2014, The eyes of the deceased Leader were donated so that people in need could see the World. Even after the demise of Bhuma Nagireddy, Family Members came forward to donate his eyes. Such a noble gesture - isn't it? That's the reason Bhuma Family created an ever-lasting impact on AP Politics irrespective of whether they are in power or not.
From 3 PM onwards, Funeral Procession of Bhuma Nagireddy will begin. The last rites of Bhuma Nagireddy will be performed beside Shobha Ghat, where the funeral of his wife took place. Family Members were toying with the idea of changing the name of the ghat into Bhuma Ghat.
