But, do you know that there are 15 constituencies in Telangana, where Rs 5 crore is just pocket money and you need to spend more that Rs 15 crore to win an election? Yes. All these are high profile constituencies, where money flows like water and all major candidates have to spend incredibly huge sums. In these constituencies, the voter will come out to vote only when the candidates pay them. Not just that! Now with Rs 1000 note gone, the minimum a candidate has to shell out to "buy" one vote is Rs 2000.

According to poll watchers, LB Nagar, Rajendra Nagar and Serilingampalli constituencies in Hyderabad are high expenditure seats. Also, Shadnagar, Sircilla, Marcheriyal, Kodad, Kodangal, Mahabubabad, Huzurnagar, suryapet, Warangal East and West are among the list of high cost seats. While KTR is contesting from Sircilla, Huzurabad and Kodad are represented by the PCC chief and his wife. Kodangal is Revanth Reddy's burrough. Suryapet has minister K Jagadeeswar Reddy in the fray. Interestingly, in all these constituencies, the real estate is booming and lot of construction activity is going on. Most of the realtors are related to some candidate or the other. As a result, money is flowing in unabated in all these constituencies.
