This Village Isn't For Sale: AP Voters

Sreepuram Dharapuram Village in Buchireddypalem Mandal of Nellore District draws the attention of people across the state whenever elections might happen. In the past, People in this village boycotted the elections seeking justice for them. This time, They have come up with flexis to convey their votes aren't for sale and only those who promises 1 acre land gets their support.
Way back in 1970, 200 Villages had migrated from Sriharikota. Government took away their immovable properties by promising lands in Sreepuram Dharapuram. They, however, kept fighting for justice all these years when it comes to allotment of lands.
In 2012, Sreepuram Dharapuram Villagers boycotted by-elections. Then, Revenue Officials assured justice to them for conducting elections but nothing was done by them.
Vexed with the false promises, Villagers decided not to sell their votes and remain firm on their stand. They want to vote for only the party which assures sanction of 1 acre land to every family as per GO 1024. Election Commission removed the flexis set up by the villagers in this regard.
