Undavalli compares Special Status with Marriage

Former Congress MP Undavalli Arun Kumar fired on TDP & NDA for the stand they have been taking on Special Category Status to AP. He stated TDP-BJP Combine has come to power with the promise of Special Status and these two parties will remain as betrayers in History if this remains unfulfilled.

The Senior Politician found fault with Centre going back on Special Status and at the same time giving assurance on Special Package. "Pelli Chestanani Cheppina Tarvatha Pelle Cheyyali. Adi Kakunda Maroti Chestanante Ela Oppukuntaru," he questioned.

Undavalli lambasted AP Government & CBN: "What has Chandrababu Naidu achieved from his Delhi tour? What benefit did AP receive from his frequent meetings with Prime Minister? This is even bigger insult than the undemocratic manner in which the Telangana bill has been passed in the Parliament. State Government wasn't even able to make Centre implement at least the provisions of AP Reorganisation Act 2014. At the time of Bifurcation, There was a demand of Rs 10,000 crore as immediate financial assistance to Capital-less AP. Now, Chandrababu is celebrating the nominal grant of Rs 2,300 AP received from Centre in the past 17 months".
