Vangaveeti Radha joined Telugu Desam Party upon obtaining some assurances from the Leadership. Chandrababu Naidu is contemplating on fielding this Kapu Leader in Machilipatnam Lok Sabha Constituency.
There are close to 2.5 lakh Kapu Votes in Machilipatnam Parliament Segment. TDP Leadership believes Vangaveeti Radha could influence the Kapus in all the Assembly Segments as well if he contests from here.
If Radha accepts the proposal, Sitting MP Konakalla Narayana will contest from Pedana Assembly Constituency. Konakalla is hesitant to contest in the Lok Sabha Polls. Instead, He is seeking Pedana MLA Ticket. That is why TDP Leadership preferred Vangaveeti for the MP Seat.
In fact, YSR Congress Leadership offered Vijayawada East & Machilipatnam MP Ticket for Vangaveeti Radha. He, however, insisted on Vijayawada Central and defected to Telugu Desam. Radha ended up receiving Machilipatnam MP Ticket even from TDP. What would he do now?
