When Venkaiah Naidu rejected NTR's Offer?

Venkaiah Naidu landed in Hyderabad for gracing the wedding ceremony of Ramoji Rao's Granddaughter at the Film City Tonight. On this occasion, A felicitation ceremony is being conducted in the city for soon-to-be Vice President of India.
Speaking on this occasion, Venkaiah Naidu said: 'I always treated party like My Mother. I had tears in my eyes when I was asked to cut ties with the party for making me Vice President. That's when PM Modi consoled Me. I never aspired for any posts. I was offered the post of State BJP Chief at a very young age. When I was Union Minister, I got the opportunity to serve as party's national president'.
The Senior Politician claimed he won as MLA in 1983 Polls despite NTR Wave. 'At that time, NTR offered me cabinet berth if I join TDP. But, I had rejected that proposal,' he reveals.
Saying that he never aspired to be either President or Vice President, Venkaiah disclosed he have plans to quit politics in 2020 and focus on social service after ensuring Modi retains power in 2019 Polls. He clarified neither he nor his family members misused power to amass wealth.
