AP deserves Special Care: Venkaiah to Union Ministers

In the wake of severe criticism on him following backtracking over Special Category Status, Union Urban Development Minister M Venkaiah Naidu is determined to compensate the injustice being done to AP with special care and by winning back the trust of Andhrites.
Recently, Venkaiah Naidu held a meeting with Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari, Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar, Power Minister Piyush Goyal and External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj at his residence. He asked them to conduct an exercise over the manner in which assistance could be provided to AP. Particularly, They discussed about the implementation of '24 Hours Power Supply to all the Households' and 'Uday' scheme.
Later, Venkaiah Naidu briefed BJP President Amit Shah about the Special Care AP deserves following the injustice done to it with bifurcation.
The recent meetings give a feeling that BJP Leadership has clearly understood the seriousness of the situation in AP, especially after the revolt of Pawan Kalyan.
