Vice President Venkaiah Naidu knows how to surprise people. His speeches and his felicity in different languages can floor anyone. But, this time around, he has surprised the Urdu lovers of Hyderabad city by tweeting in Urdu. Naidu, who on Saturday attended the graduation day ceremony of the Muffakham Jah College of Engineering in Hyderabad, tweeted in Urdu script. In the tweet, he said: "Aaj Hyderabad mein Muffakham Jah College of Engineering ke kamyaab graduation day mein shirkat karke masarrat huvi - Talaba unke walidain aur asataza ku mubarkbad. Un ke liye yeh eik aisa mouqa jise woh hamesha yaad rakhenge. (Happy to be part of the graduation day ceremony of Mufakham Jah College of Engineering. Congrats to students, their parents and teachers. This is an event they shall cherish forever.)
Not many know that Venkaiah is adept in several languages. He is adept in Tamil and Kannada, besides Telugu, Hindi and English. He has recently surprised everyone in Rajya Sabha by speaking in 10 languages to inform the MPs about the translational services in the house.
