Virat Kohli maintains Anushka Sharma continues to be an important part of his life and her presence has always been lucky for him.
In his recent interview, Kohli disclosed that Anushka was beside him when he was informed that he was named as Indian Test Skipper in December 2014 and ODI Skipper in 2016. 'I was able to share those moments with Anushka and that's something I will always remember,' he told.
Kohli was announced as Test Skipper during the Series against Australia before ICC ODI World Cup 2015. He was with Anushka in the hotel room then. Selectors preferred him as the replacement for Dhoni after the Jharkhand Dynamite given up ODI Captaincy as well. Kohli was informed about his elevation when he was playing Test Match in Mohali and Anushka had come to meet him at that time.
