Virender Sehwag received laurels for his good sense-of-humour ever since he became quite active on Twitter. He, however, got slammed for poking fun at Kargil Martyr's Daughter & Delhi University Student Gurmehar Kaur who became famous by condemning the attack of ABVP on Students & Teachers in Ramjas College pin New Delhi.

In a video, Gurmehar Kaur was seen holding a placard which reads, 'Pakistan didn't kill my Day, war killed him'.

Sehwag shared a photograph of himself holding the placard saying, 'I didn't score two triple centuries, my bat did'. He further adds, 'Bat me hai Dum !#BharatJaisiJagahNahi'.

Netizens began attacking Sehwag after they came over his insensitive post.

'The Day you will lost your Near/Dear one in WAR then you will get to know & will stop doing this nonsense. Shame on you@virendersehwag'.

'@virendersehwag this 20-year-old's father was killed at war. it could have been easier for her to hate. but she doesn't. and look at you!'.

'@virendersehwag can't believe someone of your stature to troll a 20 year old who has already lost so much.'
