T-Congress Blames EC For Shocking Defeat

The day dreams of People's Alliance to form the government in Telangana ended on the counting day. Only 21 (Congress - 19, TDP - 2) out of 119 seats have been won by Mahakutami in the Assembly Polls. In 2014, Congress and TDP had won 20 seats and 15 seats respectively while contesting separately.

While most of the TRS Candidates won with a huge majority, Several Congress Candidates managed to win with narrow margins. Now, Congress Leaders have been raising this matter as per their own convenience.

Mallu Ravi wondered how could TRS Candidate who faced the ire of public during campaigning win with huge majority. He also complains that there is difference between Votes Polled, Votes Counted and Voting Percentage. 'Election Commission announced 3 different figures for the same constituency. Then, How could it be a fair election? No more could we trust EC and EVMs,' he dared to say.

Congress Spokesperson Dasoju Sravan declared that a movement named 'Bring Back Ballot Papers' will be launched in Hyderabad soon.

Telangana Congress directed all of its MLA Candidates to file RTI Petitions to obtain the details of votes polled, votes counted and voting percentage in Assembly Polls 2018. If there are any irregularities, Congress would raise this issue in the Parliament and demand appointment of Joint Parliamentary Commission to probe.
