'I Was Paid Rs 13000 To Kill Gauri Lankesh'

Parshuram Waghmore admitted killing Journalist Gauri Lankesh at her residence on September 5th last year.
In his confession statement, Parshuram Waghmore said: 'Didn't take part in the assassination for the sake of money. I did it because Gauri Lankesh is anti-Hindu'.
A Person from Sindhagi assured all possible support to Parshuram Waghmore if he executes the assassination plan. An advance of Rs 3,000 was paid to him for food and accommodation in Bengaluru. Thereafter, He was given Rs 10,000 by a stranger before he left the city. Parshuram went to his home town and none involved in the operation came in touch with him thereafter.
Parshuram was a worker at Kitchen Utensil Shop. He stopped going to work after the assassination of Gauri Lankesh. Even his Family Members weren't aware of his role in the murder. This is why his kin weren't able to believe the truth when SIT nabbed him.
