Who Opposed Ganta's Entry Into YCP?

AP HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao contemplated on joining YSR Congress Party few months ago due to the importance given to Minister Ayyanna Patrudu by the Party Leadership. In the survey conducted by Lagadapati's Team, It's been projected that Ganta would face defeat if he contests from Bhimili in 2019 Polls. Pro-TDP Media offered wide coverage to this report. Ganta grew suspicious that TDP Leadership might be trying to sideline him and decided to join YCP.
Quickly, Ganta sent feelers to Jagan for joining YSR Congress before 2019 Elections. A Topbrass TRS Leader brought this proposal to YCP Leadership. Even Yuva Neta responded positively initially.
A Senior YSR Congress Leader, however, suggested Jagan not to give scope for criticism by inviting Ganta who is facing allegations of involvement in Visakha Land Scam and irregularities in HRD Ministry. Thereafter, Jagan decided not to encourage such politicians with bad reputation. Ganta had no other option but to continue in TDP after this shocker.
Later, TDP Leadership assured Ganta that he would be allotted Bheemili Ticket in 2019 to stop him from looking at other parties.
