Will TDP Kapu Leaders Openly Defy Chandrababu Today?

The TDP Kapu leaders are all set to have an all-important meeting on Monday with Chandrababu Naidu. The meeting would be in the TDP office in Guntur. If sources are to be believed, this would be a make-or-break meet for the party as the Kapu leaders are going to tell Chandrababu Naidu whether they would stay back in the TDP or leave the party to join the BJP.
Post TDP's defeat, most Kapu leaders feel that there is no political future if they remain in the TDP. They feel this is the right time to join the BJP. Key Kapu leaders held a secret meeting in Kakinada to discuss their political future. They also refused to attend a meeting called by Chandrababu Naidu. So, it was rumoured that all the Kapu leaders might join the BJP.
Chandrababu, who is facing desertion after desertion from the party, got panicky and called for a meeting of Kapu leaders today. He sent personal invitations to all Kapu leaders. The Kapu leaders will first meet at Bonda Uma's residence for lunch and then will head to TDP office in Guntur. Even Bonda Uma is said to be unhappy with Chandrababu, but the former CM has somehow managed to convince him to work on his behalf. So, the meet is going to be very important.
