Will Vizag Too Go Vizianagaram Way For The TDP?

Is Ganta Srinivasa Rao all set to administer a huge shock to TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu? Sources from Vizag say that it is likely that not just Ganta, but several key leaders close to him could join the YSRCP. If sources are to be believed, Ganta and his supporters are likely to join the YSRCP on October 2. It is being said that he has also agreed to resign to the MLA post and fight the bypolls after joining the YSRCP. As a matter of principle, Jagan is opposed to sitting MLAs switching sides. If an MLA from other party wants to join the YSRCP, he has to first resign the MLA post. The same rule will apply to Ganta Srinivasa Rao.

Sources say that Ganta has already negotiated with the YSRCP about the position he would be given in the YSRCP after joining the party. He had reportedly met YS Jagan in Hyderabad recently. Sources say that former MLAs Meesala Geetha and Gajapathinagaram Naidu too could join the YSRCP. Already staunch TDP leaders like Adari Ajay Kumar and former ZP chief Adari Rama Kumari have joined the YSRCP. Both Ajay and Rama Kumari are children of Adari Tulasi Rao. Former minister Ayyanna Patrudu's brother Sanyasi Patrudu too could join the YSRCP soon. Former MLA Panchakarla Ramesh , who is TDP Vizag rural district president, too is likely to join the YSRCP. With Ganta too joining them, the TDP would be all but dead in Visakhapatnam district.
