YS Jaganmohan Reddy crossed a huge milestone on Monday. The walkathon which was launched on November 6th last year reached 3,000 km landmark. He completed this feat on the 269th Day upon reaching Srungavarapukota in Vizianagaram District. This achievement makes it the longest ever Padayatra by any politician in the Telugu States.
Praja Sankalpa Yatra was launched with the goal of reaching out to at least 2 crore voters in the 13 districts of Andhra Pradesh. Although, The initial plan was to cover 125 constituencies. Few more segments were added in the route map due to the requests from Local Leaders.
Actually, Jagan planned to complete the padayatra in 180 days. Overwhelming response from every nook and corner in the state stretched the number of days to nearly 300-mark. Jagan has been walking for 12 to 13 km per day since the past 11 months. He would be ending the walkathon at Icchapuram in Srikakulam District.
YSR Congress Leaders, Cadre and Supporters are pretty confident of winning not less than 100 seats in 2019 Elections. Stupendous success of padayatra boosted the morale of party loyalists so much.
