Insecurity Among YCP MLAs and In-Charges

For few days, There were widespread speculations about the entry of YCP MP Butta Renuka into TDP. As per media reports, Butta Renuka didn't withdraw her decision as she didn't receive any assurance from Jagan over Kurnool MP Ticket in 2019 Polls. When she expressed her wish to contest again from the same Parliament segment, Jagan replied, 'Let's See…!'.

In fact, The situation of Sitting MLAs and Party In-charges who worked sincerely for YSR Congress all these years is no different. Most of them are unsure if party leadership would offer them ticket in next elections.

Generally, Sitting MLAs and In-charges are most likely to receive party tickets at the time of elections. But, YCP Leadership is acting differently and Jagan's close coterie should be blamed for the insecurity among party leaders.

YSR Congress Party have a solid cadre and even a large section of people wish to see YS Jagan as Chief Minister. But, Few Leaders who were close to Jagan have been damaging the prospects of the party by denying opportunities for sincere party leaders. Already, 21 YCP MLAs have joined TDP. 10 more legislators are planning to join the Ruling Party post Nandyal By-poll. This is because Jagan hasn't given any assurance on offering tickets to them in 2019 elections.

At the same time, There are Party In-charges who have been investing their time and money for YCP since few years. Unfortunately, There is no guarantee over party tickets to any of these leaders. Party Leadership is killing the enthusiasm among committed Leaders by saying winning horses will be offered tickets depending on the situation. Few Leaders in Jagan's close coterie are encouraging Leaders who doesn't even maintain good relations with the people. Eventually, Party will suffer because of such activities. Even YSR Kutumbam wasn't as successful as it should have been. What will be the damage control measures Jagan would adopt?
