YCP MLA Rejects 50 Crore Offer From TDP

As many as 23 YCP MLAs defected to Ruling TDP in the first three years of TDP Rule. YCP Chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy accused TDP of buying MLAs like cattle in the market for a price of Rs 20 crore each.

Inspite of facing criticism, TDP Government seems to be not yet satisfied with the huge scale migrations. Attempts have been made to lure few more Opposition MLAs before the next elections.

YCP MLA from Aluru in Kurnool District Yayaram accused CM Chandrababu Naidu of offering him Rs 50 crore and Ministerial Berth if he defects to TDP. He ruled out joining TDP citing his commitment to YSRC. 'Bhuma Nagi Reddy and SV Mohan Reddy shifted party accepting the offer of TDP Govt but I am not going to do that for sure. Since then, Funds to my constituency has been stopped by CM,' he alleged.

If what Jayaram revealed is any indication, TDP spent not less than Rs 1,000 crore for horse-trading. What will be the explanation of TDP Leadership to the latest allegation?
