Nandamuri Balakrishna might have received accolades from the Opposition Leader for his style of functioning as an MLA but he was unable to resolve internal disputes in TDP so far. Though Hindupur is known to be TDP's bastion since NTR took plunge into politics, Group Wars have weakened the Ruling Party since Balayya became an MLA.

The issue began due to the alleged high-handed behaviour of Balakrishna's PA in Hindupur. Party Leaders which include former MLAs had revolted against the PA. Succumbing to the pressure, Balayya has distanced himself from his Personal Assistant.

Overwhelming response for a rally conducted by YSR Congress in Hindupur indicates internal wars and frequents protests against Balayya has influenced the people very much. YCP Leaders demanded Balayya to address issues such as Drinking Water, Repair Works of Highways and Completion of development works which were happening at snail pace. Even bulls have been used during the protest staged in Hindupur against Balakrishna.

Cops have disrupted the rally which was taken part by huge number of people. Following a heated argument, Police resorted to lathi-charge to disperse the crowd. YCP Leaders were arrested after they sat down on the road in protest against the intervention of police. The recent happenings within TDP and in the constituency gave an impression that Hindupur mayn't be a safe zone for Nata Simha anymore.
