YSR Congress Leadership took the call to fight for Special Category Status, Polavaram Project, Railway Zone and Promises of AP Reorganization Act 2014 during the upcoming Winter Session of Parliament.
Opposition MPs: 'For debate on the Private Bill over Special Status, We should remain in the Parliament. Did AP CM Chandrababu Naidu accept Special Package for the sake of people or himself? We exposed the ploy of TDP to throw the blame on YCP over denial of Central Funds'.
When Media Persons pointed out the possibility of submitting resignations, YCP MPs reiterated they are willing to resign in Speaker's Format if that fetches Special Status. '9 MPs won on YCP Ticket in 2014 Polls. 3 from AP and 1 from Telangana had joined Ruling Parties. Even those MPs should submit their resignations. If we resign, There will be no one to speak about Special Status in Parliament. We will raise our voice demanding centre to fulfill all the promises in the Act,' said the Parliamentarians.
The challenge thrown by YCP would certainly irks Chandrababu Naidu. If YCP MPs disrupt Parliament Proceedings, TDP will be under pressure to fight for the rights of AP People.
