Padma Bhushan Awardee Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad described YS Jaganmohan Reddy as a perfect combination of NTR and YSR. He went on to say, 'NTR and YSR come to our minds when we think about Telugu Culture, Traditions and Language. Jagan is a true successor of both these Legends. While he inherited the commitment and dedication from YSR, He have the kind heart for which NTR is known for'.
Yarlagadda made these comments at the launch of book 'Pedal Sabha Lo Telugu Pedda' on C Narayana Reddy. AP CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy was the chief guest for this book launch happened on Tuesday.
On this occasion, Yarlagadda recalled an interesting conversation with YCP Supremo on May 20th: 'I told Jagan that I will be leaving to US for attending North America Telugu Society (NATS) event. Quickly, Jagan asked how could I go to US when he is swearing-in as AP CM on May 30th. That shows the confidence he have on the victory of YCP'.
Few days ago, Yarlagadda met YS Jagan and requested him to make Telugu compulsory in AP Schools. He dared to allege that Telugu language died in the last 5 years when TDP was in power. Jagan responded positively to the appeal made by the Renowned Writer.
