Wild speculations are doing rounds after Congress leaked the audio tape of phone conversation between CM BS Yeddyurappa and its MLA BC Patil ahead of the floor test. Reports are abuzz that BJP Leadership has directed the Lingayat Strongman to step down to save the face of the party.
On the other hand, There were media reports that BS Yeddyurappa could voluntarily resign anticipating his defeat during the trust vote in Karnataka Assembly. Buzz that BS Yeddyurappa sought the appointment of Governor Vajubhai Vala ahead of the floor test gave score for it.
Two MLAs (Anand Singh and Pratap Gowda Patil) haven't been present in Vidhana Soudha for the oath-taking ceremony. These Missing Legislators are believed to be at Goldflinch Hotel in Bengaluru.
