Army Officer's First Leave becomes his Last

Army Officer Lieutenant Umeer Fayaz was kidnapped from his house and shot dead by Terrorists in Shopian district, Kashmir. The 22-Year-Old is on a leave to attend a family wedding but he hardly anticipated that this would be his last break.
When Umeer Fayaz was sitting with the bride at around 8 PM, Three Men came upstairs and asked about the whereabout the Army Official. They took him away soon after identifying him and even family members were unable to stop them. Several other Militants are waiting outside to carrying out this operation successfully.
Hours later, Umeer Fayaz's body was found near a bus stand in Harmain Village. Locals took him to hospital where a Doctor identified Umeer and passed the information to his Family.
Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley described the killing of an unarmed Army Officer as an act of cowardice. He said the courage and sacrifice of Ummer Fayaz will inspire Youth from Kashmir Valley to serve the Nation.
