Now carry Aadhaar in your Pocket!

mAadhaar App is being launched by Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). From now, Citizens could carry the information of Aadhaar card in their pocket with the help of this App.
First of all, Users need to register their mobile number with UIDAI to use mAadhaar or Mobile Aadhaar App. Then, Their details can be downloaded on the mAadhaar App. Following which, User's Name, Gender, Date-of-Birth, Address and Photograph will be displayed. The App is equipped with Biometric Locking System. Even Time-based One Time Password (TOTP) functionality is available.
Once if citizens successfully complete this procedure, They needn't carry the hard copy of their Aadhaar anymore. This move is part of the Digital India initiative!
mAadhaar is only available on Android platform for now. Android Users could download it on Google Play. Very soon, It will be available on iOS platform as well.
