After Rahul Gandhi, Lokesh too visits a bike mechanic's shop
Is TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh trying to imitate Congress prince
Is TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh trying to imitate Congress prince and former Wayanad MP Rahul Gandhi? It appears so. Just as Rahul Gandhi said that the Muslim League was not communal, Lokesh has said that he would bring in Islamic Banks if he came to power. Not just that. Like Rahul Gandhi, who has undertaken Bharat Jodo Yatra,Lokesh too is currently on a padayatra in AP.
Remember Rahul Gandhi recently visited a bike garage and helped the workers there in their work by turning some screws here and tightening some bolts there? Much in the same way, Lokesh Babu too visited a bike mechanic's shop and helped him in his work. For better effect, he even donned the mechanic's uniform.
The incident occurred in Santhanuthalapadu of Prakasam district on Tuesday. After visiting the mechanic's shop, he also held a meeting with the bike mechanics in the town. He gave a patient hearing to their problems. He told them that he would set up a corporation for the bike mechanics in the state after he came to power.
There are around 8 lakh such bike mechanic shops across the country and they provide jobs to around 10 lakh people. He said that he would strive to improve their living standards. He said YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's misrule has ruined the lives of these self-employed persons. He said he would work for their development after he comes to power after the 2024 elections.
